Hard to glance at a networking magazine these days and not get caught up in the race to get to the smallest laptop.
Funny how the televisions in our worlds are getting bigger daily but that we are demanding the smallest laptops possible.
And yes, while there is surely appreciation for smaller being better, is smallest screen always better?
As our technology grows, we are asking our laptops to shrink.
(From a processor standpoint and from the point of view of the hardware, this all makes sense.~From the POV of the hardward and from the processor perspective, this all makes wonderful sense.}
But does it make sense to the screen on these new smaller laptops?
The fact is that the hunt and the goal of the smallest laptop must come with winners and losers. And clearly, the loser here is the computer user that loves the big screen.
The graphics and the resolution performance on these smaller screens has never been this advanced, no doubt.
But is that enough for the tv population that we are?
Is the shrinking of technology and the shrinking of these screens best for everyone?
To the movie lover and to the graphic artist the answer is a resounding no.
Welcomed and loved…that is how the majority of people who want these small laptops are approaching this new paradigm.
What about you??? Are you searching for the smallest laptop for the biggest reasons?
